“Serving sentient beings in the Dharma way is Offering to the Buddhas”

That is what Buddha has taught us. Wouldn't we ever forget it, being Buddhists?

That is why we – Dao Tam members – always strive to carry out those essential teachings of Buddha throughout the last eight years in existence. Besides our entertaining performances at various local temples during the main Buddhist holidays and celebrations, we have also contributed monetary fundings to many orphanages in rural Viet Nam. We have helped the less fortunate people who suffered from poverty, diseases, or natural disasters when the need arises. We also sponsored a few religious education programs for the young Buddhists at many temples in Viet Nam.

Our Charity fund includes:

• Regular Contribution: Dao Tam members and many supporters donate just $10 per month to the Charity fund through monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or yearly payments.

• As needed Contribution: At times, especially after natural disasters such as hurricanes, typhoons, earthquakes… we often collected special donations to help victims of these disasters.

Donations and contributions to the Dao Tam Charity fund can be sent to the address below. Please make checks or money orders payable to Dao Tam Buddhist Society, and please indicate that the money goes toward our Charity fund.

In a special section on our website, www.daotam.org , we normally listed the various contributions by donors' names and donation amounts, as well as the contributions for what events, and the organizations that received such monetary fundings.
