In the whole Tale of Kieu, the return of the lover, the reunion of the young couple are always just fragile and uncertain years, expressed in the form of trivial words:

Dreams imply despair. And that manifestation, if any, is just an illusion, a metaphysical happiness. A return without meeting. Add to that, an agonizing binding:

An unanswered oath! The happiness “aspiration for three births” offered by the Buddha to comfort and comfort people also tore people’s hearts in heavy tragedy, because behind the vows of Kim Trong – Thuy Kieu, is actually deep love. heavy, is a strong desire for happiness. The conflict is not resolved. The nature of happiness does not exist in the word “Hieu”, the word “meaning” according to the feudal concept! And the notions of metaphysical happiness (memorabilia, next life reunion, tears of sympathy) can’t ease the suffering of a young woman with a passionate heart like Thuy Kieu.
It can be said that Kieu’s mood stands in front of all the breakdowns of happiness, showing the struggle between the conceptions of happiness – the Confucian conceptions of happiness. Of Buddhism and humanistic conceptions of happiness. Thuy Kieu only looks to the concept of metaphysical happiness when the circumstances are bound:
